Picnic! September 26
Dear Friends,
It has been several months since we’ve gathered – and we thought it would be great to welcome the Fall months by coming together in a safe, fun way.
As a result, the Church has reserved a space at the Firefighter’s Park in Troy, which is just a half mile west of the MSU Management Education Center where we have Sunday Services. (See the Attachment map).
It will be on Saturday, September 26 beginning at noon for a couple of hours.
To be safe, each of us can bring our own food and drink. In addition, we ask everyone to wear a mask (at least until the eating begins), and to maintain the needed social distancing. This should not be a problem, because the Picnic Grounds where we’ll be is such that each person or family should have their own picnic table.
Ray Santerini and Tony Camilletti have generously volunteered to provide musical entertainment and we are so excited to connect with them and enjoy their talents.
The space is covered so it should not be a problem if we happen to get a little rain. But late September in our area is likely to have some pretty nice weather.
We hope you’ll be able to come. Just to help us plan, please let us know (1) if you are able to attend, and (2) how many persons you expect in your group. Please email your response to: ronaldfscott@gmail.com
It will be such fun to be with one another – even if we can’t hug (yet).
