I Will Rise Above
This Sunday, September 13th at 10:00 am EDT
Each of us can rise above this time – or any time of challenge. Especially is this so when we brace the Truth that God, the Life Force, is unceasingly bringing Greater Good into our lives. The Message includes a specific process for lifting oneself out of the darkness.

Points to Remember – Sunday September 13, 2020
“I Will Rise Above This”
Deut16:15 says, “Your God shall bless you in all ways with increase, and in all the works of your hands.”
This does not mean everything will turn out the way we would like. Nor does it mean we’ll be free of problems. But it does mean that, in the midst of problems, greater things will seek to be your experience.
When we understand that we too, like Jesus, can “overcome the world,” we see that our soul’s journey is unique for each one of us. The life lessons I need are different from those you need. God will reveal this in its right time. Meanwhile, I can live as effectively as possible by aligning myself with Divine Mind – by living from Love, Joy, Peace, Gratitude, Harmony and the other attributes that form the Divine Path.
We know it is not this world causing greater things to happen. Rather it is God, the Life Force, the Higher Realm that is totally responsible for bringing about our Greater Good.
A vital question becomes, “What can we do to further the greatness that is seeking to happen in us and through us?” Rev Jack Boland spoke to this many years ago, identifying the following process by which anyone might rise out of the darkness:
1..Invite yourself to live – reading and observing others who have done so
2..Forgive yourself and others – making restitution, but letting it go
3..Re-claim your self-esteem – speak well of yourself, don’t expect to fail
4..Reach out to help others –give of time & concern, thus healing yourself
5..Believe in miracles – relate to what is larger than yourself. And pray
6..Take one step at a time – settle for what comes next
7..Practice gratitude – look for reasons to be grateful. Praise God
You can rise out of a ‘dark night of the soul’ and know with all your heart that life is worth living.
Announcements
At the end of the Services, on both Wednesdays and Sundays, the Zoom audio and video will be opened up to all who would like to connect with one another. As we do, it can feel a lot like when we interact in the Lobby after a Service. Know that, for those who choose, you can merely observe and not be seen or heard. We hope you will join us online this Sunday at 10:00 a.m. (Zoom will be used after the main service on Sundays, for a time to connect and have a virtual “Coffee Hour.”)
